ATLANTA, Oct. 17, 2013 — /PRNewswire/ — BWell Senior Care, a physician owned and operated home care agency, announces new home care model for mature adults who would like to stay in the comfort of their own home while maintaining an optimum level of independence. The new model combines personal care assistance with the option of in-home medical care and physician house calls to enhance a client’s quality of life and prevent an undesired move from home and to reduce the likelihood of Emergency Department visits or hospital admissions.

BWell Senior Care provides an array of non-medical home support services customized for each individual. The company’s ultimate goal is to keep clients who need personal care, home management and companionship, dementia care and medical services in their homes longer by providing in-home quality of life services. Approximately 20% of Medicare patients that are admitted to a hospital will be readmitted within 30 days of their discharge. BWell Senior Care’s  goal directed objective is to reduce this readmission rate for their clients who have returned home from a hospital admission.

“We developed our unique model to ensure clients receive the superior in-home service and the attention to detail they deserve,” said Dr. David Asrael, a medical doctor and founder of BWell Senior Care. “We provide hourly or  24/7 live-in care for clients and families in the greater Atlanta area. We designed the BWell service model to keep clients at home, and away from nursing facilities, emergency departments and hospitals.”

Caregiver Certifications and Expertise

BWell Senior Care only hires the most caring, experienced nursing assistants. The agency’s care is provided by a staff of hand-picked and highly experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA’s) who strive to provide the same level of care they would want for their own family members. Because BWell is physician owned and operated, the agency is able to provide medical house callsas needed, at no additional expense through the company’s affiliation with Georgia Urgent Care, LLC.  BWell functions like an urgent care on wheels and is able to perform diagnostics, treatments, IVs, and procedures during house calls.

A complete list of services provided by BWell Senior Care is listed on the new website, located athttp://bwellseniorcare.com/our-services/. The comprehensive services offered are intended to help clients stay independent by providing personal care, home management and companionship as well as safety, security and some medical services, including physician house calls, in-home immunizations and communication with private physicians. BWell welcomes medically frail clients and individuals recently discharged from hospitals and rehabilitation facilities. In addition to providing hourly care, BWell provides long term live-in care with CNA’s who are able to stay at the client residence for up to a month straight without any disruptions. This unique care model allows focus on the task at hand and keeping clients in the comfort of their own homes.
